Spirit of Synchro Awards |
This Award Recognizes a team member that embodies true team spirit. This skater is friendly towards teammates and includes everyone on the team, is always on time for practice, is always in good spirits at practice and helps others on the team in anyway possible. This awarded to one skater per team. |

These awards recognize skaters who have shown enthusiasm and dedication to the CanSkate program throughout the skating season. Through their participation in the program, recipients of this award have demonstrated the talent and desire needed to find continued success on and off the ice. There is a CanSkater of the Year and 2 CanSkate champions. |

Most Dedicated Program Assistant |
This award is determined by attendance and is awarded to a Program Assistant who shows commitment to the club, punctuality, consistent effort, and hard work. |

Program Assistant of the Year |
This award recognizes dedicated and passionate Program Assistants who continuously share Skate Canada’s vision with all participants of the program. This award is presented to individuals who are not only great assets to the coaching team on the ice, but also show their commitment off the ice by providing support and assistance to the club and their members. |

Club Appreciation Award |
This award goes to an individual who goes above and beyond to assist with all club programs including Canskate, STARSkate, and Synchro. This person volunteers for competitions and club events and is always willing to lend a helping hand. |

Volunteer of the Year |
The recipient of this award efforts has produced specific, positive results in the club, whose contributions reflect passion for the sport and its participants, who has been involved in the club for a minimum of 1 season, who is an exemplary role model for other volunteers, skaters, coaches etc., and who leads by example. |

Sherry Drover Memorial Award |
This award is in honor of Sherry Drover, longtime coach of the CBS Skating Club who passed away in February 2007. This award is voted on by the skaters whom vote for their fellow skater that shows the true spirit of skating. This skater has fun, works hard and is a friend to everyone on and off the ice.1 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze Winner |

This is awarded to the Skater who has made exceptional progress over the past season. This skater has shown exceptional work ethic and effort which has allowed them to succeed in improving their skating. |

This Award recognizes a skater who has demonstrated determination and commitment to the STARSkate program. Recipients of this award have displayed passion for the sport and have achieved success throughout the season, not only within the STARSkate testing system but also with personal skill development and growth. |

Competitive Skater of the Year |
A skater who exhibits spirit, dedication, determination, or other favorable qualities. This Skater is a positive role model for other athletes and combines off-ice and on-ice training in order to meet his/her competitive goals. Top 10 finish in the Pre-Novice Level or higher at Sectionals. |
