First of all, THANK YOU for your patience this evening as we navigated through the madness of Dress Rehearsals! Tomorrow will be way less hectic as we all now know the process.
All Parent Volunteers for CanSkate Groups should now have their ticket for show access as well as an overview of their roles. If you have not already done so, please sign up on the volunteer form previously sent so we have your contact information. We send a HUGE THANK YOU to those parents for stepping up to help; I guarantee you will enjoy your time with your CanSkate group.
Doors Open 6:00pm / Show Starts 7:00pm - If your child is in the first half of the show, they must be in the dressing room by 6:30PM.
Tickets will be available tomorrow from 1:00-4:00PM at the Upstairs Box Office and Lower-Level Entrance beginning at 5:00PM
IF YOUR CHILD IS IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE SHOW
They must be in their assigned dressing rooms by 6:30PM.
Once skates and helmet are on, please SIGN IN your child with the parent volunteer and proceed to the stands to watch the first half of the show (your child will also watch the show in the stands with their group)
When INTERMISSION begins, please proceed back to the dressing room, and SIGN OUT your child to watch the second half of the show with you.

Dressing Rooms for the Second Half will be: DR#7 – CanSkate Group A DR#8 – CanSkate Group C IMPORTANT NOTES: If you own skate guards, please ensure that your child wears them, some areas are not 100% matted for blade protection. Devils & Minions – Please ensure horns, wigs, and goggles are secured to your child’s helmet before proceeding to the stands. We will have some extra tape on hand if needed. MOST IMPORTANTLY, Sit back, Relax & Enjoy the skater celebration!
STARSKATE INFO: STARSkate Dressing Rooms: DR#1 – STAR GROUP 3 DR#2 – STAR GROUP 2 DR#3 – STAR GROUP 1 DR#4 – GENDER NEUTRAL DR#5 – STAR MALE With many skaters in multiple groups and some quick changes with the schedule, please ensure that you are back to the curtain in adequate time. Again, a reminder, we do ask for no parents are in the dressing rooms to avoid congestion and other children changing. However, they are permitted to come in to help with a quick change if needed but the parent does have to be of the same sex. Males are not permitted in female dressing rooms, and females are not permitted in male dressing rooms at any time. Additionally, STARSkaters will be watching the showf rom the stands alongside their peers when they are not on the ice or preparing for their next number. Skaters sit to the right side near the curtain, allowing them to view the show and be prepared to perform at a moment's notice. This is an experience they eagerly anticipate and greatly enjoy—celebrating and watching the show with their fellow skaters. IMPORTANT NOTES: ALL Skaters should be in their dressing room area no later than 6:30PM No Flash Photography This is a CELEBRATION of ALL Skaters and ALL Achievements – Take ALL the pictures, Smile, Be Proud and HAE FUN! CANSKATE
Just a friendly reminder: Dress Rehearsal will be a busy and hectic day so please come with a little patience and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled ice practice with costumes on.
Skates and helmets should be on for at least 10 minutes before your skater is due on the ice. Once skates are on, please proceed to the stands. You can meet your child back in the dressing room after their practice and group photo.
SYNCHRO
If you are on 2 synchro teams, you do not need to change your synchro dresses; Please leave your current one on for the next practice immediately following.
Another email will be sent out FOLLOWING Dress Rehearsal with any updates or changes, along with your dressing room assignments, schedule and group times.
Most of our costumes have arrived!
There have been a few delays due to border crossing with orders however we are working diligently and efficiently to ensure they all are here by dress rehearsal.

These are COSTUMES and not custom outfits. To provide a high-quality custom fit we would need to charge high quality custom pricing but choose to make this affordable for all families to partake and show everyone what they have learned throughout the season.

*** It seems as though some of the bodysuit sizes are a little "cheeky". To adjust this all skater in STAR GROUP 2 are now asked to wear a pair of black shorts over their tights and bodysuits.
Wall of Messages:
We would like to offer you the opportunity to acknowledge your skater at the Show!
We want to create a “Wall of Messages” for everyone to see and read throughout Dress Rehearsal and Ice Show. When the Ice Show is over, skaters can take their messages down and bring home to keep.
Messages are for ANY SKATER from ANYONE for ANY REASON throughout the skating season, that you feel should be recognized and feel special for. No reason is too big or too small to notice!
Some Congratulations Ideas could be:
Special Award/Medal
Showing up to every practice
Learning to tie your skates
Trying or accomplishing something new
ANYTHING that made their skating season special
Messages are $10 per message with No Limit to how many you can purchase.

Our Ice Show Photographer this year will be Melanie Courage.
Photos will be taken during Dress Rehearsal so pleases come Photo Ready!
Group photos will be taken immediately following on ice practice run throughs. Once group photos are taken, children will return to their assigned dressing rooms. Parents can meet children in their assigned dressing room after the group photo takes place.

Parent Group Volunteer is an Easy, Fun, & Rewarding task. All you need to do for ½ of the show is help your group parents sign their child in & out of the dressing room and sit with the group (and your child) in the stands for their half of the show.
